We are located at the William Gates Building in the West Cambridge Site, which, besides the Computer Lab, also hosts Intel Research.

Next to us we have for example

the historical Cavendish Laboratory, (and where Professor David MacKay’s Group is based)

the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (where I've just incidentally met Professor Stephen Hawking in the garden on my 1^st week here),

the Institute of Astronomy,

the Nanoscience Centre

or the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics,

just to mention the places where I use to attend courses and seminars (personal academic diary).
